North Coast Times Eagle was founded by the late Robert Stanley Need in

Wheeler, Oregon in 1971 and published and edited by him until 1975.

In 1979, a former reporter, Michael Paul McCusker, revived the

broadsheet and has been its Editor and Publisher since that time.

The Eagle appears bimonthly and features global and local political

commentary, drawings, and poetry.

Bimonthly broadsheet since 1971. Archived by the Special
